We are actively recruiting our founding Advisory Board (5-9 members) who will transition to our formal Board of Directors upon 501(c)(3) status.
What We're Looking For

- •Nonprofit management or governance expertise
- •Paddlesports or outdoor education background
- •Financial, legal, or accounting skills
- •Deep community connections in the Hudson Valley
- •Lived experience with barriers to outdoor access
- •Marketing, communications, or public relations expertise
Commitments
- • Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person)
- • Participate in at least one committee (Programs, Finance, Development, Governance)
- • Make a personal annual financial contribution (Give or Get model)
- • Actively participate in fundraising and outreach
- • Serve as an ambassador for the organization
